Mancherial: Farmer electrocuted by wild animal fence in Chennur village
Chennur police reported that Jad Bapu, 45, from Rachapalli village, died instantly on Sunday after coming into contact with an electrified fence set up by a farmer to protect his paddy crop from wild boars. His body was discovered near the fence on Monday.
Mancherial: A farmer was electrocuted when he accidentally touched an electrified fence meant for preventing damage of crops by wild animals at Muttaraopalli village in Chennur mandal on Sunday. The incident came to light on Monday.
Chennur police said that Jad Bapu (45) from Rachapalli village died on the spot when he came into contact with the electrified fence set by a farmer to avoid damage of paddy crop caused by wild boars on Sunday. His body was spotted near the fence on Monday.
The farmer is survived by his wife and two sons. Based on a complaint received from his wife, a case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
