Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vista School, Gachibowli to provide technical skills and exchange of learners soft skills in consonance with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines.
Prof Syed Ainul Hasan, VC, MANUU who presided over the signing ceremony remarked that education should not be seen in isolation, it must be accompanied by training. Under the MoU, which is signed for three years, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), MANUU will arrange technical skill classes for the students from IX to XII standards of Vista School and provide them training online and offline modes. The Director of Vista School, Suresh Challa, thanked the University officials for extending this opportunity to the school students.
Prof S M Rahmatullah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, MANUU, pointed out that NEP 2020 is different in many aspects and focuses on skill development along with education in the mother tongue. He also asked Vista School to introduce Urdu as a second language in their curricula.
