Marredpally records highest rainfall in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Marredpally in Secunderabad recorded the highest rainfall in the city on Friday, receiving 4 mm by 4 pm, according to the Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS).
Light showers were reported across multiple areas of Hyderabad, including Kukatpally, Serilingampally, Qutubullapur, Shaikpet, Khairatabad, Asifnagar, Golconda, Balanagar, and Uppal. Most of these areas recorded rainfall ranging between 2 mm and 4 mm.
Nampally received the lowest rainfall, with just 2 mm recorded during the day.
Kukatpally, Serilingampally, Qutubullapur, Shaikpet, and Khairatabad registered 3 mm of rainfall, according to TDPS’s live rainfall tracking portal.
Rainfall is likely to rise further as showers continued between 2 pm and 5 pm across several parts of the city.
