Karimnagar: Mayor Y Sunil Rao inaugurated a woolen clothes market started by refugees from Tibet near Telangana Chowk next to the multi-purpose park on Monday. He garlanded the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Dalai Lama.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Rao said Karimnagar people were supporting Tibetan refugees, who would establish woolen clothes outlets in the town in the winter season every year and hoped for a similar kind of support this year too. Informing that the woolen cloths of the best quality were available at lesser prices, he said 20 woolen clothes outlets were available in the market.
