Mazzo at Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad will host a Tamil Food Pop-up from August 3 to 9, curated by MasterChef India Tamil finalist Chef Preethi Raghunandan. The festival will feature authentic regional dishes showcasing the rich culinary heritage and flavours of Tamil Nadu.

Hyderabad: Mazzo at Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad will host a week-long Tamil Food Pop-up from August 3 to 9, featuring an authentic menu curated by MasterChef India Tamil finalist Chef Preethi Raghunandan.

Born and raised in Erode, Tamil Nadu, Chef Preethi’s culinary journey began in her grandparents’ kitchen, where she developed a deep appreciation for traditional recipes and home-style cooking. Over the past 15 years, she has catered for VIPs and celebrities, launched successful cloud kitchen ventures and organised pop-up dining experiences across Chennai and Malaysia. She has also developed signature sauces and flavour profiles that blend the essence of South Indian cuisine with contemporary culinary techniques.

The week-long festival will showcase a specially curated menu celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Tamil Nadu. Diners can savour signature dishes such as Mutton Kola Urundai, Milagu Meen Varuval and Neer Kari Kolambu, alongside a range of regional favourites prepared using traditional spices, seasonal ingredients and modern presentation.

The festival aims to offer guests an immersive dining experience by highlighting the diversity and authenticity of Tamil Nadu’s cuisine while introducing contemporary interpretations of classic recipes. Whether rediscovering familiar flavours or exploring Tamil cuisine for the first time, visitors can expect a menu that reflects the state’s rich culinary traditions.

The Tamil Food Pop-up will be held at Mazzo, Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad, from August 3 to 9, with dinner service beginning at 7 pm each day.
