MediCiti joins hands with ICMR-NIN for public health research

MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Medchal, has signed an MoU with the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and SHARE India to advance research and capacity building in public health. The collaboration will focus on nutrition, non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, and community health models.

Hyderabad: MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Medchal on Sunday announced collaboration with National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), for taking up research and capacity building in the field of public health.

As a part of the collaboration, the MIMS along with Society for Health Allied Research and Education, India (SHARE, India) has entered into an MoU with ICMR-NIN.

Prof K Siva Rama Krishna, president, MIMS said “This partnership will promote joint research, training programmes, data-driven innovations addressing nutrition, non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, and community health models”. Director of ICMR-NIN, Dr. Bharati Kulkarni, senior food research scientist and office bearers of MIMS and SHARE India were present at the MoU signing function.
