Milad-un-Nabi celebrations in Hyderabad with social, religious events
Hyderabad is preparing for Milad-un-Nabi with blood donation camps, food distribution drives, and the Seerah Expo at Chaderghat. Religious meetings and processions have been postponed to next weekend in view of Ganesh idol immersion scheduled on Saturday

Hyderabad: The city is gearing up for Milad-un-Nabi festival to be celebrated on Friday.
To mark the occasion, several blood donation camps are scheduled to be organized at different places in the city. A mega blood donation camp with be organized at Asafia Library, Afzalgunj by FOCUS organization and Tanzeem Irshad ul Muslimeen between 9 am and 5 pm. Children suffering from thalassemia will benefit through the camp.
Another camp is organized at Balamrai Eidgah in Secunderabad. Similarly, senior Congress leader Osman Mohammed Khan, is organizing a blood donation camp at Prime Function Hall, opposite Anwar ul uloom college, Mallepally between 10 am and 5 pm.
Another blood donation camp is being organized at Astane Hazrath Peerji Qibla Abdullai, near Charminar bus stand between 10 am and 8 pm.
The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Malakpet is organizing a ‘Seerah Expo’ at Grand Imperial Function Palace, Chaderghat. The highlights of the event are an exhibition, models of places of religious significance, children’s corner, quiz, book stall and food court.
Several programs including religious meetings, food camps and fruit distribution at government hospitals, orphanages, and old age homes are also planned by different religious and social organizations.
The processions and larger religious meetings were postponed to next weekend by the organizers in view of the Ganesh idol immersion event on Saturday.
