Minimum temperatures rise in Telangana; Hyderabad sees relief from cold
Telangana sees a rise in minimum temperatures, providing relief from cold. Hyderabad recorded a low of 11.6°C in Serlingampally. IMD forecasts rain in parts of the State this weekend, with Hyderabad expecting moderate to heavy rainfall around November 29–30.
Hyderabad: There is a respite from bitter cold weather conditions for people in Hyderabad and elsewhere in the State as the minimum temperature has gone up in several districts on Friday.
As per the Telangana Development Planning Society, only three places in the State recorded single digit temperature as against 10 areas on Thursday. The lowest minimum temperature of 8.7 degree Celsius was observed in Kumuram Bheem-Asifabad district on Friday as against 8.0 degree Celsius on Thursday. Adilabad and Sangareddy districts had minimum temperature of 9.1 and 9.9 degree Celsius.
As for the areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Serlingampally had the lowest minimum temperature of 11.6 degree Celsius, followed by 13.5 degree Celsius in Ramachandra Puram and Patancheruvu, and 13.7 degree Celsius in Chandanagar.
The minimum temperatures, as per the Telangana Development Planning Society, are expected to go up two to three degree Celsius during the next two to three days in the State.
As per the India Meteorological department, a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal is likely to bring rains in Jogulamba – Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, Suryapet districts on Saturday. Hyderabad might see moderate to heavy rains around November 29 and 30 due to another depression in Bay of Bengal.
