Mohit Saini takes Day One honours at Hyderabad Sailing Week
Mohit cruised to victory in the Race 1 and 3 while his fellow sailoer from AYN won the second race to stay in hunt.
Hyderabad: Mohit Saini from Army Yachting Node (AYN) took the Day One honours in the Laser Standard race winning two of the three races, at the Hyderabad Sailing Week at the Hussain Sagar Lake, on Sunday.
Mohit cruised to victory in the Race 1 and 3 while his fellow sailoer from AYN won the second race to stay in hunt.
In the Laser 4.7, TSC’s Akshay Vincent C recorded two wins – in Race 1 and 3 – to take the lead while Balle Kiran Kumar won the second race.
However, the sailors had a tough day on the water with strong winds ranging from 14-18 knots hovering over the lake.
