Initially, many residents presumed it was an earthquake. Such was the impact of the blast that tremors were felt by the residents. They said the earth shook for a couple of seconds and household items in their houses tumbled, according to reports.
Though there is no official confirmation about the incident, residents said the earth shook due to the reactor blast in the factory, the reports added. More details are awaited.
