Nizamabad Government General Hospital Superintendent relieved of duties

Row erupted after Dr Prathima Raj and a few staff members celebrated her birthday in her chambers in the hospital

HYDERABAD: The State government has relieved Nizamabad Government General Hospital Superintendent Dr Prathima Raj of her duties with immediate effect. Orders to this effect were issued on Sunday. Paediatrics HoD Dr P Srinivas has been made in-charge Superintendent of GGH.

A row erupted after Dr Prathima Raj and a few staff members celebrated her birthday in her chambers in the hospital. This apart, there have been complaints that Prathima Raj and a few staff members had neglected extending treatment to a patient, who was admitted to the hospital on Friday night.
