Hyderabad: The Telangana Postal wing will not conduct any public transactions on Monday, July 7, at all post offices under the Hyderabad South East and Nalgonda postal divisions due to the adoption of new upgraded digital systems in these two divisions from Tuesday, July 8.

“The new upgraded digital systems, which will be implemented across all post offices in Hyderabad South East and Nalgonda postal divisions from July 8, will offer an enhanced user experience, faster service delivery, and a more customer-friendly interface,” said Y Naresh, Assistant Postmaster General, Telangana Circle.

Naresh has urged customers to plan their visits to the post offices falling under these two divisions in advance, as systems will not conduct any transactions on July 7.

“This temporary suspension of services is aimed at facilitating data migration, system validations, and configuration processes, ensuring that the new system goes live smoothly and efficiently. The digital transformation is being undertaken in the interest of delivering better, faster, and more digitally empowered services to every citizen,” the official added.
