Peddapalli: The National Thermal Power Corporation-Ramagundam has won the Telangana State Energy Conservation Award (TSECA)-2021 award.
The Power giant was selected for the award for its outstanding performance in the field of energy conservation for the financial year 2020-21.
Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan presented the award to NTPC officials in a programme organised by Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Chief General Manager, NTPC-Ramagundam & Telangana, Sunil Kumar and AGM (EEMG & BE) Manoj Kumar Jha received the award from the Governor. NTPC officials from Southern Region Headquarters, B Rajendra Kumar and Venkanna were also present.
The award gives the highest level of recognition for NTPC Ramagundam in the State as well as the Indian Energy Sector, NTPC officials opined.
