ODF Medak conducts flotation test of BMP war tank in Sangareddy

Sangareddy: An amphibious manufactured for the Indian Army by the Ordnance Factory in Medak, underwent successful floatation test in a water body here on Friday.

The Ordnance Factory in Yeddumailram conducted the floatation test on the BMP war tank at Pedd Cheruvu, a minor irrigation tank located at Malkapur near Sangareddy town.

ODF Medak would manufacture and supply 120 BMP vehicles annually to the Indian Army. The ODF will conduct the mandatory flotation trials for the war tanks at the irrigation tank every year following the guidelines.
