One held for sharing morphed image of MLA in Hyderabad
A complaint was made against the Facebook account by AIMIM party workers on Tuesday, following which the police identified the person and detained him.
Hyderabad: One person was taken into custody by the Hussainialam police on Tuesday night on charges of sharing a morphed image of Charminar AIMIM legislator Mumtaz Ahmed Khan on social media platforms.
A complaint was made against the Facebook account by AIMIM party workers on Tuesday, following which the police identified the person and detained him. The man had found a video which used morphed images of the MLA circulating on social media platforms and shared it on Facebook, police said.
The police are trying to find out the person who originally morphed the videos/ images and posted them on social media platforms.
