Pallavi Aware International School: Importance of donating blood emphasised
The importance of blood donation was reiterated in not just the English language but also in the regional language of Telugu.

To mark the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the students of Pallavi Aware International School organised a virtual campaign to raise awareness among the students and parents about the significance of the day. They spoke about the importance of donating blood, emphasising the fact that it not just helps others but also has a positive effect on our own bodies.
They mentioned why this day came to being and also explained the ways in which it is observed by the World Health Organisation and its member States across the globe. The students meticulously planned the proceedings of the campaign, keeping in mind that their audience was of a multilingual gathering. The importance of blood donation was reiterated in not just the English language but also in the regional language of Telugu.
The students prepared and presented a PowerPoint presentation regarding the day. They went on to encourage the gathering to donate blood, if not, to at least spread awareness about the importance of donating blood to those unaware of it.
Celebrations at PMS, Bowenpally
The students of grade VII of Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally, in a special assembly, celebrated World Blood Donor Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. They highlighted the message that anyone who can donate blood should consider making regular voluntary unpaid donation so that all countries have adequate blood supply.
