World Statistics Day is observed once every five years on October 20. It was instituted by the United Nations Statistical Commission with the aim of creating awareness about the significance statistics has in our lives.
To mark this occasion, the students of Pallavi Aware International School, Saroornagar campus, organised a virtual program enlightening the gathering about World Statistics Day. The students informed the crowd about the significance of this day and the various ways in which it is observed across the globe. A speech was given by the students regarding this day followed by a PowerPoint Presentation made and presented by the students.
The students then went on to teach the audience various tricks and shortcuts they can use while solving Math problems. This was followed by a riddling session of interesting statistical questions. The students had then sung songs appreciating and praising the uses and wonders of statistics.
