Hyderabad: Students from different intermediate and degree colleges staged a protest at the camp office of Bhongir MLA K Anil Kumar Reddy on Thursday demanding immediate release of pending scholarships and fee reimbursements from the State government.
Chanting slogans against the government, the students gathered in front of the MLA’s camp office, holding placards and raising their voices. They questioned whether the MLA would come out to address their concerns or ensure the release of their scholarships. The students criticized the government for its inability to disburse scholarships, calling it a shameful act.
The protesters also pointed out the absence of a dedicated Education minister in the State, labelling it a disgrace. The students vowed to continue their agitation until their demands were met, highlighting the urgent need for financial support to continue their education.
