Police constable dismissed for role in tribal girl trafficking racket in KB Asifabad
Police constable Kameri Haridas was dismissed from service after being arrested along with seven others for trafficking two tribal girls from KB Asifabad to Madhya Pradesh. He had earlier been suspended for a similar offence in 2019.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Kameri Haridas, a police constable who was among eight persons arrested for alleged involvement in a human trafficking racket, has been dismissed from service. The dismissal order was issued by Superintendent of Police Kantilal Patil on Thursday night.
According to the order, Haridas was terminated from the police department for his role in the trafficking case. Eight persons, including Haridas and five women, were apprehended for their alleged involvement in a human trafficking network busted by police on June 20.
During interrogation, the accused admitted to selling two tribal girls from the district to individuals and organisers of a sex racket in Madhya Pradesh for Rs. 1.30 lakh and Rs. 1.10 lakh respectively. Haridas had earlier been booked in 2019 for selling a tribal girl in Madhya Pradesh and was subsequently suspended from duty.
