Woman farmer fractures leg while trying to get urea token in Warangal
A woman farmer in Warangal district sustained a fracture while trying to climb a gate to secure a urea token amid chaotic distribution at Peddathanda. Officials had restricted token issuance to those already inside the godown premises, prompting panic.

Warangal: A woman farmer sustained a fracture while attempting to secure a token for urea at Peddathanda under Parvathagiri mandal on Tuesday.
The farmer, Lunavath Kavitha, had gone to the godown to collect a bag of urea. However, officials reportedly announced that only those already inside the godown premises would be given tokens.
Fearing that she might miss out, Kavitha attempted to climb the gate. She slipped in the process and fractured her right leg.
She was immediately shifted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, a young farmer from Ramavaram in Vardhannapet mandal died by suicide. Further details are awaited.
