Role of IT Cell team commendable in probing crime cases, says Rachakonda CP
He appreciated IT Cell team for providing technical support in expediting the investigation of many complex cases
Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu said the role of the IT Cell was commendable in investigating complex crime cases across the police commissionerate.
Speaking at a special review meeting with the officers and staff of the IT Cell on Tuesday, he appreciated the IT Cell team for providing technical support in expediting the investigation of many complex cases like murder cases, property crimes, chain snatching, vehicle thefts, mobile thefts, and road accidents.
“Due to the efficient functioning of the IT Cell, it has been possible to nab the real suspects in many complex crimes in the shortest possible time through the collection of technical evidence, and the criminals are being punished,” Sudheer Babu said.
He suggested the importance of CCTV cameras should be further publicised among the citizens and that the cameras already installed should be ensured to function properly.
