MP Medak Kotha Prabhakar Reddy is handing over Rs 5 lakh gratia to diver Narasimhulus wife Latha at Potharam village in Siddipet district on Wednesday.
Siddipet: Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy on Wednesday said the Panchayat Raj department has sanctioned Rs 16.25 crore for three different roads under Dubbak Assembly constituency.
Speaking at a review meeting with officials of Panchayat Raj department at Potharam village in Dubbak mandal, the MP instructed the engineering wing officials of the department to expedite the road works. He informed the locals that the government has sanctioned Rs 11 crore for roads from Mettu to Alwal, Rs 4 crore from Venkatraopet to Siddipet, nd Rs 1.25 crore for Latchapet bridge.
Reddy, who distributed Rs 2 lakh insurance amount to bereaved families of three TRS workers who died in different incidents in Dubbak Constituency, assured that the TRS party will always take care of the well-being of their party workers.
The MP also presented Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) Cheques to several beneficiaries from the Constituency on this occasion.
Deceased diver’s family gets Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia
Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh cheque to the family members of Bandakindi Narasimhulu, a diver who died while fishing out bodies of two persons from a well.
On December 1 last year, Akula Prasanth (30) along with his mother Bagya Lakhsmi (50), traveling in a car, drowned when Prasanth lost control over the steering and plunged into a roadside well at Chittapur near Dubbak.
While retrieving the bodies from the well, Narasimhulu (48), a resident of Enuguturthy in Dubbak Mandal, also died. Prabhakar Reddy, who assured support to the bereaved family, handed over Rs 5 lakh exgratia to his wife Latha at Potharam village in Dubbak Mandal.
