Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who announced revision of pay scale for the government employees, teachers and pensioners, promised to increase the salaries of the employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). He said the issues will be discussed with the Transport Minister and officials to take an appropriate decision beneficial for the RTC employees.
Replying on the budget discussion in the Assembly on Friday, the Chief Minister said about Rs 3,000 crore were allocated to strengthen the TSRTC and the State government will take all measures to protect its RTC employees. He recalled the role of RTC Unions during the Telangana movement and assured that the salaries will be increased on the lines of government employees and teachers.
Further, Chandrashekhar Rao also announced that the salaries of junior panchayat secretaries will be paid full salaries on par with the panchayat secretaries commencing from next month. However, the probationary period will be extended for one more year and the salary will be paid in full. He appreciated their contribution towards significant development of villages and asked them no to worry about their future.
