Seed processing unit inaugurated in Jogipet

Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran said the seed processing unit has a capacity to process 30,000 qunitals of seeds during a season which will be supplied to farmers again.

Sanagreddy: Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran inaugurated a seed processing unit at the Seed Development Corporation office premises in Jogipet on Friday. The unit was set up at a cost of Rs one crore.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the seed processing unit has a capacity to process 30,000 qunitals of seeds during a season which will be supplied to farmers again.

Underlining the importance of changing crops every season, Kranthi Kiran observed that it will help the farmers to get better yield . The MLA asked the agriculture officials to constantly extend guidance to farmers so that they will improve the agriculture output.

Seed Corporation Chairman Keshavulu, District Agriculture Officer B Narsing Rao, and others were present.
