Sigachi Industries accident toll rises to 41 as injured worker succumbs

The death toll in the Sigachi Industries explosion reached 41 after another injured worker, Jitendar from Uttar Pradesh, died during treatment on Sunday. His body was sent for postmortem, and arrangements were made to transport it back to his hometown.

Sangareddy: The death toll in the Sigachi Industries Limited accident rose to 41, with another victim succumbing to injuries while undergoing treatment at Dhruva Hospital on Sunday.

The deceased was Jitendar, a native of Uttar Pradesh, who had sustained 75 per cent burns in the mishap. His body was shifted to the government hospital in Patancheru for postmortem.
