Six clinics sealed in Sangareddy for unauthorised Covid treatment
Collector said that these six clinics - Modern Clinic, New Nova Clinic, Akhil Nikhil Clinic, Digwal Village Clinic, Krishna Diagnostic Centre and Citizen Poly Clinic, were caught offering Covid health services without obtaining necessary permissions
Sangareddy: The Sangareddy district administration sealed six clinics after identifying that these clinics were offering Covid-19 health services without obtaining necessary permissions in Zaheerabad division area.
Following the directions of Collector Sangareddy M Hanumantha Rao, the officials from different wings of district administration and the Police department inspected the clinics under Zaheerabad division. They found that six of these clinics had admitted patients without necessary permissions after conducting the Covid-19 tests on them.
The Collector said that these six clinics – Modern Clinic, New Nova Clinic, Akhil Nikhil Clinic, Digwal Village Clinic, Krishna Diagnostic Centre and Citizen Poly Clinic, were caught offering Covid-19 health services without obtaining necessary permissions from the government. The Collector instructed the health department officials to conduct further inquiry to initiate action against these clinic managements.
Meanwhile, Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Rajarshi Sha has inspected the Community Health Centre in Sadasivpet to examine the treatment being given to Covid-19 infected. The Additional Collector also visited Covid-19 isolation centres set up at Government Degree College and KGBV Sadasivpet.
