Hyderabad: March is already here and several South filmmakers hope to see some movies finally making their way to the theatres. With the audiences slowly going back to the theatres, several movies also pave their way to the traditional theatrical release once again.
And this March, it is going to rain films for movie lovers, who can look forward to booking a ticket every week of the month. So, gear up for this list of films set for a big release this month:
Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu
Kishore Tirumala’s upcoming flick ‘Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu’ is touted to be a romantic comedy and a family entertainer. Starring actors Sharwanand and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film revolves around Sharwanand finding a right match for marriage. The Telugu film is set to release on March 4.
Radhe Shyam
After several postponements, the romantic-drama ‘Radhe Shyam’ is finally set to release in theatres on March 11. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film, set in the 1980s, sees Prabhas and Pooja Hegde as a romantic couple. Produced by UV Creations, the film will be released in multiple languages.
RRR
Director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ is surely one of the most-awaited movies of the Indian film industry. The film, which will see actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR play Alluri Sitaramraju and Komaram Bheem respectively, revolves around the struggle faced by the two characters during their fight for freedom. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody in prominent roles. The magnum opus is scheduled to release on March 25.
Etharkkum Thunindhavan
Suriya-starrer action drama ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’, which has Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj and Vinay Rai in the crucial roles, is arriving in theatres on March 10. The Tamil action thriller film is written and directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures.
Bheeshma Parvam
Mammootty-starrer Malayalam action drama ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, helmed by Amal Neerad tells the story of Michael, a former gangster-turned-maritime transporter from Fort Kochi. Following a series of unfortunate events and death threats to his family, he is forced to revisit his past. The flick is set to release on March 3.
Hey Sinamika
The romantic drama, helmed by choreographer Brinda, features Dulquer Salmaan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The film revolves around a married couple and how they handle the ups and downs in their married life. The film promises an entertaining list of events between the couple and their therapist. The film is set to release on March 3.
