There is always something special about a Pre Primary Graduation ceremony- the day when tiny tots step into the formal world of learning. At Pallavi Aware International School, March 27 was a day to cherish as the students of PP2 graduated. They all looked refreshing and vibrant in their graduation gowns and caps, ready to adorn the new colours of Grade 1.
The event ‘Utsav – The Celebration of Life’ started with a welcome dance and song. Principal Sudeshna Mairal welcomed the guest and congratulated the students and teachers of pre-primary wing for achieving this milestone moment. Director Anita, in her speech, motivated the students to rise and shine.
Chief Guest Kauser Sayeed – the founder of “Learn 2 Lead”, in her address, said that the quality preschool education has to be improved and this is possible only if parents and teachers work together. She also stressed that these early years of schooling are very important as 85% of the brain develops during preschool age. She also added that preschool education has to do more with development rather than literacy. The programme continued with a series of dance performances from different parts of India followed by the certificate presentation to the little graduates by their parents.
