Sunil’s death in bike crash: Rohith sentenced to 10 years’ RI for reckless driving in Jagtial
Due to reckless driving, the trio met with an accident in which Sunil sustained a severe head injury and died on the spot. Rohith did not have a driving licence.

Jagtial: The First Additional District & Sessions Judge S Narayana on Wednesday convicted and sentenced Pallikonda Rohith for ten years rigorous imprisonment for drunken driving that led to the death of Kunaram Sunil.
Suni, hailing from Nirmal district, and his friends Rohith and Praveen visited Donoor in Dharmapuri Mandal on June 13, 2022 on some work. The trio travelled on a bike and while returning, they met with an accident. Despite being warned by his friends, a drunk Rohith drove the bike with Sunil being seated in the middle.
Due to reckless driving, the trio met with an accident in which Sunil sustained a severe head injury and died on the spot. Rohith did not have a driving licence and the bike owner, Mallesh, was fined Rs 2,000 for allowing an unlicensed person to drive the vehicle.
