Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao will address the prestigious Talk Journalism 2025 conference, scheduled to be held in Jaipur on July 19 and 20. Now in its ninth edition, the event is one of India’s most prominent platforms bringing together leading journalists, prominent public intellectuals, and influential political voices.
Rama Rao will participate in a session, moderated by NDTV’s Marya Shakil, focusing on “North-South Divide in Indian Politics.” Organisers said his participation was crucial in adding a strong and nuanced Southern voice to the ongoing national debate on federalism, regional equity, and political representation.
Recognised as one of the most articulate and progressive leaders from South India, the BRS working president was chosen for his leadership during his decade-long stint as Minister for IT and Industries.
Under his stewardship, Telangana emerged as a key destination for global tech and industrial investments. His talk is expected to focus on Centre-State dynamics and highlight the increasing demand for equitable political representation for Southern states in the national framework.
