The arrest of Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh by the Enforcement Directorate has ignited a new political battle, intensifying the upcoming election fervor.
In a post on X, Kejriwal said: "The arrest of Sanjay Singh is completely illegal. This shows Modi ji's nervousness. They will arrest many more opposition leaders till the elections."
According to sources, Singh's name appeared four times in the charge sheet, out of which one was by mistake. While typing, Delhi's excise commissioner Rahul Singh's name was mistakenly typed as Sanjay Singh.

AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal said all district hospitals in Punjab will be renovated and the first revamped hospital will be inaugurated on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
In his address at an event here, Kejriwal noted that his government had been operating under challenging circumstances due to the Central government's interference in their work.
When asked if he was attacking the then Congress Government and whether AAP was still with the Congress party in alliance, he said people were against the "dictatorial attitude" of the government back then.
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal will be on a three-day visit to Punjab from September 13, party sources said on Tuesday.
