It has been produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.

Adivi Sesh, who penned the story and the screenplay for ‘Goodachari’, is working on the script for the sequel too.

"Major" is a biographical drama based on life of 26/11 martyr Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Reports have suggested that the film's international rights and satellite rights have been sold at a whopping amount already.

The story of the film chronicles the life of 26/11 martyr Unnikrishnan’s life and what made him the brave heart that showed exemplary bravery during the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on November 26.

The film will release in Hindi and Telugu and be dubbed in Malayalam. It is a biographical drama starring Sesh as 26/11 martyr Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film marks Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's debut as a producer.

The upcoming mystery thriller 'WWW' features Adith Arun and Shivani Rajashekar in the lead roles.
