No case of severe AEFI was reported anywhere,” Director of Public Health (DPH), Dr G Srinivasa Rao said.

Out of the 16, 750 beneficiaries planned, 82 per cent i.e. 13, 666 healthcare workers received the vaccine at 324 vaccination centres across all the 33 districts in Telangana.

Unlike some other States, where a few beneficiaries reported severe Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI), no such complications were reported in Telangana.
