Laxman said Telangana CM Revanth and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu should resolve all the pending issues with regard to bifurcation of the State at the earliest and in a positive atmosphere.
Laxman said despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah clarifying on the issue, the Congress was continuing to target the BJP on the issue.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Laxman said the Congress had made false promises during the assembly polls to come to power and now was again making false promises to get votes for the Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Laxman said both the parties had come to an understanding and were preparing strategies to defeat the BJP in the elections.
The Prime Minister was referring to the death of 1200 people caused by the then Congress government, but Rama Rao was trying to mislead people by saying that Modi was belittling the efforts of Telangana people.
