BRS has called for a protest across Telangana on Thursday to demand that the state government completely waive off Rs 2 lakh crop loans of all farmers without any restrictions.

The Congress had also found fault with the location of the Yadadri plant, saying that it was far from coal mines which could lead to coal transport costs of over Rs.800 crore per annum, and went to the extent of terming the project unviable.

They alleged that a large number of farmers were excluded from the list of crop loan waiver beneficiaries list. They warned that if the government failed to provide crop loans waivers to all the farmers, they would intensify the agitation

The ED officials acknowledged the complaint and are expected to review the allegations.
