A security scare was reported at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after a bullet was found in a passenger’s luggage during routine screening. CISF seized the ammunition and handed the passenger to police, who are investigating its source and legality.
Security personnel at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport recovered a live bullet from the checked-in baggage of a Kolkata passenger. The man claimed he was unaware of carrying it. Police have taken custody of the passenger and seized ammunition.
The incident happened in the morning at a flat located on the fifth floor of the apartment building located at Bairagiguda. The apartment is situated in close proximity to the firing range.
On Monday, another person, Nadeem, who suffered more than 90 per cent burns, died during treatment. A couple were travelling on the Bullet motorcycle when it caught fire at Bhavaninagar road.
