Sangareddy SP Chennuri Rupesh released the annual crime report of the district on Friday. The district recorded 55 murders, 10 murders for gain, 88 kidnaps, and 131 rapes

Since Sangareddy had a border with Karnataka, the DGP asked the officials to check all the vehicles thoroughly that were going out of the state and while coming into the state without causing any inconvenience to the passengers.

The worth of the seized gutkha and pan masala was put at Rs.34.94 lakh. During a regular vehicle check at Kamkole toll plaza on Sunday, the Munipally police led by ASI Yesaiah seized the gutkha from a DCM vehicle.

The office was provided with all the infrastructure, and computers to make it look like a corporate office.

The police would make SSSC a key stakeholder in addressing issues such as women workers' safety, traffic management, cybercrime and others.
