Unemployed youth staged a massive protest in Hyderabad demanding the release of the promised job calendar and recruitment notifications. The agitation was sparked by IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu’s statement on challenges in filling vacancies, which contradicted earlier assurances of two lakh government jobs.
The GHMC will inaugurate a new link bridge across Hussain Sagar surplus nala at Ashok Nagar on January 2. Built at a cost of Rs 6 crore, the bridge will improve connectivity and ease traffic in central Hyderabad.
