Inauguration of historic Telangana Udyama Prasthanam photo-exhibition at Telangana Bhavan would take place at 10.30 am. It would be followed by Deeksha Diwas Sabha at the district party office.

A district level preparatory meeting for the purpose was held here on Tuesday. The party state general secretary, MLC Takkallapally Ravinder Rao and district president, MLC Tatha Madhusudhan attended the meeting.

Deeksha Diwas holds immense significance in Telangana's history, symbolizing the pivotal indefinite hunger strike initiated by Chandrashekar Rao on November 29, 2009.

Deeksha Diwas is celebrated in Telangana on November 29 every year to commemorate the commencement of the indefinite hunger strike undertaken by BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao.

He also challenged the Congress to come up with facts and to name any State which filled more government jobs than Telangana in the last 10 years.
