Ramagundam NTPC organises awareness drive on menstrual hygiene
NTPC in association with Deepthi Mahila Samithi and Dhanwantri Hospital organised an awareness session through virtual mode wherein more than 100 girls participated

Peddapalli: On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day on Friday, National Thermal Power Corporation-Ramagundam, under its CSR-CD, organised an awareness session on menstrual hygiene for EAMCET and achievers-120 girl students.
NTPC in association with Deepthi Mahila Samithi and Dhanwantri Hospital organised an awareness session through virtual mode wherein more than 100 girls participated in the session.
In her opening remarks, president, Deepthi Mahila Samithi, Usha Kumar said that menstrual is a natural process and not a matter of shame. However, hygiene should be given top priority.
During this occasion, DGM (Medical) Dr Vijaya Kamraju spoke in detail on the subject and explained the process of the menstrual cycle and the myths associated with it.
She also had a one-to-one discussion with participants in which all the doubts/queries of participants were answered.
