Telangana farmers are protesting against power outages that are causing significant crop losses in the region. The farmers demand a resolution to the power supply issues to prevent further agricultural damages.

Agriculture Minister said no outcome could be reached as farmer leaders remained adamant on one issue of repeal of the laws, but the govt wanted a clause-wise discussion on the legislations
“I would certainly predict that we will be back to between 70-85 per cent, of 2019. We will certainly be lower than last year, but not to a tune that it is unrecoverable,” De Beers India Managing Director Sachin Jain has said.
"Demand for gold dropped to 892.3t in Q3 - its lowest quarterly total since Q3 2009 -as consumers and investors continued to battle the effects of the global pandemic," it said.
