A 55-year-old farm labourer, Chukkamma, was electrocuted while crossing a fence around a cotton field in Mokkampadu village under Bodu Gram Panchayat, Tekulapally mandal, on Wednesday.
Bingi Sathish (35), a farm labourer in Maredupalli, Jagtial, died after touching an electric trap installed by a tenant farmer to protect crops from wild boars. Police have registered a case, and the body has been sent for postmortem.
According to villagers, Kiran went to agricultural fields to work in paddy fields. While engaged in the work, he developed seizures and fell in the fields and died on the spot.
