Food safety teams in Telangana found multiple violations during inspections at schools, hostels, mid-day meal kitchens, and eateries. Violations included lack of food licenses, synthetic colour use, expired pulses, and unsafe containers. Samples of dal and tamarind were sent for testing.
A special drive food safety inspections were carried out in government and private residential schools, colleges and hostels in the city, following the instructions issued by GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata on Wednesday.
