BRS working president KT Rama Rao accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of turning the scrapped Hyderabad Pharma City into a “Future City” real estate venture. He alleged misuse of farmers’ lands, wastage of public money, and warned the Congress of a BRS-led fight.

An Artificial Intelligence City spanning 200 acres in the Future City, would be set up near Hyderabad under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode, said Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu

There should be no electricity towers, poles and power supply lines over the ground in Future City and the entire network should be underground. Even the high tension lines should also be relocated, he said.

The Chief Minister stated that Telangana's monthly revenue stands at Rs 18,500 crore. Out of this, Rs 6,500 crore is allocated for salaries and pensions, while another Rs 6,500 crore is used for loan repayments and interest. Some of the projects are also mired in controversy

“We are busy working 18 hours a day but our party activists are still caught up in celebrations. We are lagging behind in countering the narrative against the government on social media,” Revanth Reddy said

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday triggered questions on whether the same group has been awarded the contract for his Future City project as well. There has been no public announcement in this regard so far.
