The Chief Minister stated that Telangana's monthly revenue stands at Rs 18,500 crore. Out of this, Rs 6,500 crore is allocated for salaries and pensions, while another Rs 6,500 crore is used for loan repayments and interest. This leaves only Rs 5,500 crore for welfare and development, he explained at the India Today Conclave in New Delhi on Friday
The Revanth Reddy government, which announced several projects and initiatives across sectors including infrastructure, health and education, has barely been able to take the projects or initiatives beyond the foundation laying ceremony or the announcement. Some of the projects are also mired in controversy
“We are busy working 18 hours a day but our party activists are still caught up in celebrations. We are lagging behind in countering the narrative against the government on social media,” Revanth Reddy said
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday triggered questions on whether the same group has been awarded the contract for his Future City project as well. There has been no public announcement in this regard so far.
