Despite heavy monsoon rains, Hyderabad’s groundwater levels dipped by 1–3 metres in several areas, according to the Ground Water Department. Officials blame poor percolation, illegal borewells and rapid urbanisation, warning of a likely water crisis in summer if trends continue.

TSPSC will hold the computer-based recruitment test for various gazetted category posts in the Ground Water department on April 26 and 27

The recruitment examination (objective type) is likely to be held in the month of March/April 2023.

Of the total posts, 32 are gazetted vacancies and 25 non-gazetted.
