Former Minister T Harish Rao accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of encouraging violence during the Gram Panchayat elections, citing incidents in Kamareddy and Nalgonda districts where BRS workers were attacked. He alleged that the Congress leadership was responsible for the breakdown of law and order and demanded immediate arrests of those involved.

Several key Congress leaders from Gummadidala mandal joined the BRS in Patancheru in the presence of T Harish Rao. He accused the Congress government of neglecting village development and gram panchayats. The leaders joined along with nearly 50 followers.
