Areas including Gurramguda, LB Nagar, Saroornagar, BN Reddy, Vanasthalipuram and others witnessed scattered and intense rainfall at around 6.30 pm.

According to the car driver, the vehicle was on its way to the city when smoke started emanating from the engine.

The victims identified as Kunchala Ravi (29) from Vanasthalipura, and Bollam Pranay (29) from Meerpet, were travelling in a car when the accident took place at Gurramguda ‘x’ road around 5 am.
