He is involved in 30 cases across India, including four cases in Telangana

Police said the victim was approached by the fraudster with an offer to receive huge returns for investments

The arrested person is P Srinivas Reddy (41), a private employee from Tilaknagar. He is allegedly involved in stock trading fraud cases at five places across the country.

The arrested person, Shiva Shankar (27), is a data entry operator from Noida in Uttar Pradesh. He is involved in two cases across India, including one in Telangana.

The fraud came to light after recently a victim from Hyderabad who was duped to the tune of Rs 3.5 lakh approached the police.

According to the police, the suspect specifically targeted elderly victims by exploiting issues with their internet connection

The arrested person is identified as Lalitkumar Jaiswal from Ahmedabad

They have recently duped a 32-year-old businessman from the city to the tune of Rs 9.5 lakh by luring him with business orders for his products.

The victim, who is from Secunderabad, received a message from a stranger who over a period of time lured him into investing in online trading

In January 2025, the victim was contacted via WhatsApp by a fraudster who offered a part-time work-from-home job. The job required the victim to provide Google reviews and feedback on restaurants, for which they initially received some payments

The man aged around 71 years, received a call from some persons posing as customs officials who later duped him
