Ahead of schools reopening on June 12, Telangana's Transport Department has intensified fitness inspections of school buses. While over 18,000 vehicles have completed certification, more than 7,500 are still awaiting mandatory clearance, raising concerns over student safety and regulatory compliance.
Delhi Public Schools and Pallavi Group of Schools recorded 100 per cent pass in CBSE Class X exams, with 237 students scoring above 95 per cent and 578 centums. Students were felicitated at a Hyderabad ceremony attended by VV Lakshmi Narayana
However, the efforts of the DEO to regulate has come ‘a stitch too late’, as nearly 80 per cent of the private schools have already emptied their shelves.
