He alleged rising crime, stalled welfare, and demolition of houses, calling Congress “arrogant, corrupt and incompetent.”
The Congress government in Telangana has announced the nomination of Prof. Kodandaram Reddy and Mohammed Azharuddin under the Governor’s quota for the MLC elections, following the Supreme Court’s annulment of previous nominations. Azharuddin, a former cricketer and Congress candidate in the 2023 Assembly elections, had contested unsuccessfully from Jubilee Hills.
As local body polls near, Congress leaders across Telangana are facing protests over unfulfilled promises, land acquisition, fertiliser shortages, and housing allotment issues. Public discontent is rising in both urban and rural areas, with confrontations becoming increasingly common
Even before the Election Commission announces the Jubilee Hills bye-election, internal competition within the Congress party has intensified, with multiple aspirants including Mohammad Azharuddin, Feroz Khan, and Revanth Reddy's aides vying for the ticket.
